作者簡介 巴索．伯恩斯坦（Basil Bernstein，1924-2000） 係英國20世紀影響最深遠的教育社會學家，一生思想歷經四十寒暑，輯印成五冊，大體以《階級、符碼與控制》(Class, Codes and Control)為名出版，惟副標題互異，意謂關懷焦點和議題的轉進和變化。這五冊依序為《語言社會學理論研究》（1971）、《語言社會學應用研究》（1973）、《教育傳遞理論之建構》（1975）、《教育論述之結構化》（1990）、《教育、象徵控制與認同》（1996∕2000）。 譯者簡介 王瑞賢 英國威爾斯大學哲學博士。現任屏東教育大學教育系副教授。 譯有《教育、象徵控制與認同》（2005，台北：學富）、《教育論述之結構化》（2006，台北：巨流）。
